Royal Adelaide Show 2019

So proud to announce that ALL the entries I did for the Royal Adelaide Show this year won prizes! Especially for a couple of reasons; firstly I only learned the wire technique VERY recently and the Pod Brooch that won Best Overall Exhibit in Jewellery Classes was my very first effort in this technique. In fact I had only made about two centimeters of the crocheted chain prior to this one and the first ball was only my second attempt! So this entry not only won its section, it was considered best in the entire Jewellery section!

They all have little stories to go with them on the making or an artist statement regarding the item that I really try to let you know about in the near future.
